The Whistler's Dream

Everybody needs a dream...
Mine is to go to Oklahoma and play whistles for The Pioneer Woman. (Having been invited, not in a "creepy stalker" kind of way, for the record.) Heck, I'd play in a pup tent in the backyard for the joy of the cows and critters. What can I say? I'm a fan.

This is a ReBike

Mine is red, but otherwise this is what a ReBike looks like. Not a bad bike, and way fun to ride! Let me know if you'd like to experience what recumbent riding feels like, and we'll work something out. :-)

The recumbent idea seems strange to some folks... right up until they get on one. Then, with no stress on the arms/wrists, less stress on the legs/knees, and no "wedgie" from the seat, they get the idea. :-) Let me know when you're going to be in the office, and I'll bring the van with the bike then. My ReBike has an easily adjustable seat, so it's great to use as a demo bike. :-)

I've wanted one for a long time. Only yesterday it occured to me to look for alternative bikes and I discovered the name of these beauties.

I'm glad to see ReBikes are still around. Would you believe I own a ReTrike? It's red with Shimano shifters with canted rear wheels. I'm trying to get rid of hip bursitis so I can ride it again!

I used to have a red rebike and loved it but it was stolen from our building's garage; it was even locked. I'd love to try to ride across the country as a kind of fund raiser for the MS society; I have MS and my balance is shot so I have to have a trike if I'm gonna ride a bike but I can't afford a bike anymore, I don't work because of this damn MS.
I don't think a rebike is weird, they're neat and lotsa fun to ride, you do have to learn to take corners tho as I remember.
KEEP RIDING and having fun all.
